Seed dormancy: Types and germination

Well-timed germination is fundamental to develop wildflower seeds effectively. A primary element that adds to poor or sporadic germination is seed dormancy. Seed dormancy is the state wherein seed cannot germinate, even under ideal growth conditions. Seed dormancy is a natural seed property that characterizes the ecological conditions in which the seed can grow.
