The journal welcomes papers that explore the intersectionality of gender and women studies within the framework of such fields like literature, language, geography, history, political science, sociology, anthropology, cinema, media studies, human development, law, and medicine.
Authors can submit manuscripts and monitor their progress, hopefully for publication, through the online tracking system. As any report to be published publicly cumulatively covers 45 days from the date of receive. The time period for different processes including quality control, peer review, and paper preparation is taken from 4 to 5 weeks. Performance reviews and peer review processes are completed within 14 days, and the deadline for submission is just 7 days after the reviewers and editors have accepted.
AJGWS is going to release Volume 6 and Issue 2. In month of April, 2021 JCTT released. Peer-review is the system used by African Journal of Gender and Women Studies to assess the quality of a manuscript before it is published. Qualified researchers in the relevant research area assess submitted manuscripts for originality, validity and significance to help editors determine whether the manuscript should be published or not.
All articles published by this journal are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, without subscription charges or registration barriers. Also, authors of articles published in this journal are the copyright holders of their articles and have granted to any third party, in advance and in perpetuity, the right to use, reproduce or disseminate articles.
