Felonies, on the other hand, are more serious crimes that carry a penalty of more than one year in prison. Examples of felonies include murder, rape, and robbery.

Civil law is designed to provide a means for individuals to seek justice for harm caused to them by another person or organization. Civil law covers a wide range of topics, including contract law, property law, and tort law.

International law

International law includes treaties, conventions, and agreements that govern the behavior of states in their interactions with one another. It covers a wide range of topics, including trade, human rights, and the environment. International law is designed to promote cooperation between states and to ensure that states are held accountable for their actions. It is critical in maintaining peace and stability in the world and in promoting economic development and human rights.

Intellectual property law

Intellectual property law is an area of legal issues that deals with the protection of creative works. It includes patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Intellectual property law is essential in promoting innovation and creativity by providing a means for individuals and organizations to protect their intellectual property.
