Animal nutrition focuses on the nutritional requirements of animals, mostly those employed in horticulture and food production, but also those employed in zoos, aquariums, and natural landscapes. Macronutrients (amino acids from which proteins are constructed, and lipids from which cell films and certain flagging particles are produced) and energy are provided by carbohydrates, fats, fibre, minerals, proteins, nutrients, and water.
