    Modern and Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAM) in the times of COVID-19: A Case Study

    The second wave of COVID-19 lead to innumerable sorrow due to untimely demise of People worldwide. The patients have suffered from “hypoxia” during this COVID-19 pandemic and rushed to the hospital for oxygen support. Hypoxia refers to a state when oxygen is not available in sufficient amounts at the tissue level for maintenance of adequate homeostasis. This can be due to inadequate oxygen delivery to the tissues due to low blood supply or low oxygen content in the blood (hypoxemia). Oxygen saturation below 90% can lead to adverse effects on the other organs of the body including brain, heart and kidneys and require external oxygen supplementation.
