Health education: A systematic review of the most effective approaches to health education for older adults

Health education is a method of cultivating knowledge about health topics. For older adults, common health education
topics include fall prevention, nutrition, exercise, and mental health. This systematic literature review seeks
to determine the most effective approach to health education for older adults. The searching method consisted of
seven key words that were accompanied by 10 descriptor terms that further specified relevant search results. After
assessing articles based on inclusion criteria, a total of 15 articles took part in the final review. The results of the
articles demonstrated improved health education for older adults with the incorporation of technology, gamification,
