    Improvement of seed dispersal for sequestration of cascades

    The aim of this research was to study large, round, heavy fruits dropped off the tree onto the ground where it ripens. These moved distance from the host plant. When it reaches the ground water takes it even further and dispersed by gravity. The objective was to reduce seed dormancy. This prevented completion of germination of an intact viable seed under favorable conditions. The method to alter seed dormancy involved inclusion of nitrates in the cascade covering the seeds in their habitat. The results showed the factors affecting was the using UV as the last stage in an environment after nitrates.
